At Cadena International, we serve a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs:
Cadena International supports company and foundation formation across a broad range of jurisdictions, including the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Panama (including Private Interest Foundations), Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Seychelles (companies and foundations), and Samoa. We also assist with United States LLC formation in Wyoming and Delaware, and work in additional jurisdictions including Anguilla, Belize, Costa Rica, Cyprus, St Kitts and Nevis, and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The full list is on our jurisdictions page. The right jurisdiction depends on your tax residence, banking access, regulatory profile, and the nature of the activity being structured. We do not recommend a jurisdiction until we have understood your full circumstances.
Cadena International is the international structuring arm of Cadena Legal, an Australian law firm with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. We design and implement offshore corporate structures for private wealth, cross-border business, and asset protection. Our work is grounded in Australian and international tax law and is delivered through our network of licensed registered agents and corporate service providers across the jurisdictions we cover.
The process runs in three stages. First, a structuring meeting where we map your goals, tax position, and constraints and recommend the appropriate jurisdiction and entity type. Second, KYC collection (identification, address verification, source of funds) and formation lodged through our local registered agent.
Third, once the entity is incorporated we coordinate banking introductions, tax registrations, and any nominee or operational arrangements required. Incorporation typically completes within 1 business day to 3 weeks of complete KYC, depending on jurisdiction.
A well-designed international structure can achieve legitimate tax efficiency, separate operational and personal assets, ring-fence liability, simplify cross-border investment ownership, and support succession planning across jurisdictions. The right structure is highly fact-specific. We do not promote aggressive arrangements that would not survive scrutiny by the ATO or a foreign revenue authority. Every structure we recommend is built to be defensible and aligned with your long-term position.
Indicative timing from receipt of complete KYC: British Virgin Islands 1 to 3 weeks; Cayman Islands 1 business day to 2 weeks; Panama 1 to 3 weeks; Hong Kong 1 to 2 weeks; Singapore 1 to 3 business days; Seychelles 1 to 2 weeks; Samoa 1 to 2 weeks. Banking introductions sit on a separate timeline and typically take 2 to 8 weeks depending on the bank's onboarding process and your profile.
For each beneficial owner, director, and shareholder we require: certified copy of passport, certified copy of a recent utility bill or bank statement showing residential address (dated within the last 3 months), source-of-funds declaration, and a completed KYC questionnaire. Some jurisdictions also require a professional reference. Corporate shareholders need certified constitutional documents and a register of beneficial owners. Certification standards vary; we provide a tailored checklist after the initial structuring meeting.
Most incorporation providers operate transactionally. They register the entity, send through the corporate documents, and leave everything that follows to the client. Cadena International is built differently. We begin every engagement with a full review of your circumstances, tax position, commercial objectives, and operational needs, then advise on the jurisdiction, entity type, and structure that genuinely fits your situation. We manage the incorporation end-to-end, including KYC, registered agent coordination, banking introductions, and tax registrations, and we stay involved as the structure evolves. Our Australian clients can also access the full legal services of our sister firm Cadena Legal, including tax, commercial, and regulatory advice, alongside their international structuring engagement.
