Founder & Strategy Advisor
Harrison Dell is the founder of Cadena International and the Managing Director of its sister firm, Cadena Legal, giving clients access to a rare combination of hands-on consulting and deep legal expertise under one roof.
His career began at the Australian Taxation Office, where he worked as an auditor and in internal legal advisory roles before moving into private practice in 2019. Since then, he has advised hundreds of clients on tax, structuring, and regulatory matters across a wide range of industries and jurisdictions, building the practical, cross-border experience that sits at the heart of everything Cadena International does.
Harrison's work goes well beyond client advisory. He has made detailed submissions to Treasury on the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) and the Australian crypto tax consultation through the Board of Tax, and continues to engage directly with government to shape better outcomes for businesses operating in the digital economy and internationally.
Harrison serves as an advisor to Summ (previously CryptoTaxCalculator), contributing across the business and writing practical tax guides that help users understand their obligations with clarity and confidence.
As a trusted voice on tax and crypto, Harrison has built a TikTok following of over 45,000 with more than 7 million views, and is regularly quoted in the Australian Financial Review and other leading publications.
Director, International Advisory
Alexander Papafotiou is a Director at Cadena International and heads up the commercial team at its sister firm, Cadena Legal, bringing with him deep expertise in commercial and corporate law with a distinctly international edge.
Before joining the Cadena group, Alex founded and ran Crypto Law Group, where he specialised in advising DAOs and web3 projects on international and domestic entity formation, regulatory compliance, and legal documentation. That experience gives him a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by businesses operating across borders and in emerging industries, exactly the clients Cadena International is built to serve.
Alex's international perspective runs deeper than his work in the crypto space. Having spent much of his schooling in Athens and the UK, he is proficient in English and Greek and speaks conversational Spanish, a real advantage when working with founders and organisations navigating multi-jurisdictional structures.
His interest in the intersection of law and technology continues to grow, with a current focus on the automation of legal processes via blockchain and active involvement in the LexDao Legal Engineering Guild.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling, watching foreign films, playing golf and spending time with his wife and kids.
